Private dental practice in Manchester sold after 35-year ownership
The Bank Dental Practice in Manchester has been sold after 35 years in the same ownership.
The long-established, five-surgery private practice occupies a former bank building in Prestwich, Greater Manchester.
And the character property, which sits on a commanding position on Bury New Road, retains a number of original features including signage and a unique vault door.
The practice was owned by Dr Michael Haffner since 1990 and was brought to market to allow him to retire from practice ownership.
He will be remaining at the practice post-sale as an associate.
Following a confidential sales process with Jonathan Watson, director of dental at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by Divesh Singh, who owns a number of practices across the North West.
Singh said: “I'm delighted to be taking over a practice that is so steeped in history, which has been well built up over many years.
"We have been busy the first few weeks refurbishing the clinic, investing in an exciting future for The Bank.”
Watson added: “The Bank was a very popular sale, with the practice only remaining on the market for a month before being agreed to the successful buyer.
"Following completion, it is great to see the investment that Divesh has already made at the practice and I am keen to see how the practice develops over the coming years.”
The practice was sold for an undisclosed sum.
